I was reluctant to watch this, due to the lack of common sense in most TV shows these days

When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the theft of $18 million in maple syrup from a Quebec warehouse in 2011-2012; five people were sentenced to prison.

Likeable characters and light entertainment

But I’m glad I gave it a try. These are 30 minute episodes that are funny, corny, entertaining, dramatic and engaging.

I’ve watched all 6 episodes and can’t wait to see a second season

A couple of twists to end the series on a high note. I recommend watching it and it’s a perfect length that fits perfectly into a half hour show.

The French soundtrack is engaging too

If it had been longer, it would have dragged. I’ll look it up on YouTube Music.
