“El Agente Topo” is a remake of a Chilean documentary

Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private investigator and becomes the mole of an undercover investigation at a nursing home.

I really liked it!

It’s a remake of El agente topo (2020).

This excellent series wasn’t full of cheeky jokes and stubborn lines, I felt emotions because of the way the themes were handled in some parts – like a resident with memory problems

I was expecting a comedy series full of things like sneaking up on someone, its crazy antics, but instead we got a story about a man who not only helps others, but also helps himself to recover from the loss of his wife.

Because he wanted to see how it was done – who stole it, etc

While it wasn’t something serious that made you feel overwhelmed or bored watching the episodes, it kept the series going.

The acting was great, the cinematography and cinematography; The locations are well done

I really hope they do another season & like they did in Charles’ next detective-style adventures, they did it here, a great mix of laughs, emotions, script, location and actors.
