Two weeks before the game’s worldwide launch, Activision, the makers of the game warned that players who use Field Of View (FOV) changes may get their account banned forever from playing.
Developers of COD Warzone Mobile will ban users of FOV modifiers
Yanrique Wright, a popular mobile gaming content creator shared a post from Activision which said, “We will be updating our security rules before the game launches, but generally it won’t directly say we will ban you for changing FOV files. However, it will probably (just like the rest of those security and rules policies) say that you could be banned or have action taken against you for changing any game files, especially any that may give you any kind of unfair advantage.”

Wynndham “Wynnsanity” Curtis, a famous mobile gaming creator, shared his idea. He said, “They should make it possible to see more by turning the field of view up to 120 degrees. But there should be a warning first it may cause the device to get too hot. Then players can choose if they want that wider view or not.”

What are FOV modifiers?
In the first person shooter (FPS) and third person shooter (TPS) games, the field of view (FOV) shows players what they can see on their screen. Game developers set the recommended FOV for each screen size and resolution so no player has an unfair advantage. But some players increase their FOV more than recommended using a modifier. Them have a larger view than others because of this. They have a greater range of view than other players, allowing them to see more of the game. Their enhanced vision makes them more competitive, particularly in games like Warzone where it’s important to spot enime in advance.
COD Warzone is ready to launch on Android and ios phones on 21st March, 2024. Players have been eagerly waiting since it was announced, and many think it will become even more popular than the current COD Mobile battle royale game over time.
