Palworld has announced a significant update for its world this summer, featuring more Pals and a new island for players to explore.
Unveiled for the first time at the April 29th ID@Xbox showcase, the new Palworld island appears to be based off Japan during spring, complete with cherry blossom trees showering certain areas with their petals and the right Pals. With plenty of shrines and torii gates, when this summer update drops in a few months there looks be a lot for players to explore.
For the new Pals, we witnessed a frog dressed in samurai attire performing sword fight with a stick, a bird in a fancy costume, something that seemed like a crossbreed of Dinossom and mushroom, and another fox-like being of mystical nature. We didn’t catch the names or any additional information of these Pals or even the context in which they would appear—only a rough draft of what is forthcoming.
As per the previous updates made by Pocketpair, the winter will bring with it a lot of new places in Island. “never seen before and fun filled adventure Avenues are situated here, housing several unknown friends“. ALl of which was mostly seen in this video clip. Also, additional structures will be erected; various types of weapons installed; features created as well as potential bosses introduced among other things. However, some bad news awaits those who love playing Palworld – PvP Arena is not among these fresh additions considering that developers mistakenly stated early on that the game mode was coming out during summer update before they later changed their minds saying it would come out sometime in 2024; so maybe not until next year.
With Raid Bosses added in the latest update and over 1.3 billion hours spent by players since its January launch, Pocketpair is expected to release the next wave of content soon.
