For technical reasons, the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) LAN tournament for the iQOO India League 2024 has been canceled.
The iQOO India League 2024 BGMI competition was intended to be played in a LAN format. It was an offline event. From February 22 to 24, 16 teams was participating in the tournament at Noida Indoor Stadium. In addition to offering cash prizes for both individual and team achievements, the tournament included a whopping INR 40 Lakhs in prize money.
Reasons Behind The Cancellation of The iQOO India League 2024 BGMI LAN Event
The event has been canceled due to technical concerns. Day 1 of the event was postponed due to technical issues, and Day 2 began similarly, however after a couple of hours of delay, the first match was played, with Godlike E-sports securing the chicken supper. The second match could not proceed, and the event was finally canceled.

“We have great regrets about having to cancel the iQOO India League last night,” iQOO stated in a post on their Instagram account explaining the reason behind the cancellation. Notwithstanding our partner’s and our best efforts, we were unable to come up with a reliable solution for the ongoing network and audio connectivity problems we were having. With much thought and consideration for everyone’s time, we were forced to make the difficult decision to sadly dissolve the League. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment and inconvenience that this may have brought to our fans and the participating teams.We want to reassure you that we are steadfast in our commitment to esports and that we are incredibly grateful for your love, passion, and support. We appreciate your participation in the iQOO esports community. Warriors, the game is still ongoing.

SkullTZ Esports and Dark Spirits Esports, two up-and-coming teams, were participating in their first LAN event and had demonstrated strong performance in the earlier stages. However, they will now need to focus on the upcoming LAN events, one of which is the BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2024 event.
