We review the team and hero statistics for the final eight teams battling in DreamLeague Season 22 now that Group Stage 2 is finished.
Around seven days ago, when the first stage of DreamLeague Season 22 finished, we examined the team and hero details for all 16 groups. The highest eight teams (top four from each group) then played every team in another all play all format, but with best of three series, to choose the four teams advancing to the playoffs. A complete of 72 games were played over a week in Group Stage 2.
The final four teams of DreamLeague Season 22 Team Falcons, BetBoom Team, Team Spirit and Xtreme Gaming showed that Western Europe may no longer dominate tournaments. As these squads prepare for the final stage of the competition, we’ll examine some stats from the second group phase like which clubs performed best and which heroes saw frequent choosing.

A few heroes have clearly emerged as standouts so far. Chen, Dragon Knight, Mars, Mirana and Timbersaw are heroes that seem to be extremely popular choices. However, it’s Lifestealer and Tiny racking up the winning numbers. With 14 wins from 16 picks in Group Stage 2, Lifestealer’s success could mean we see more of him in the final couple days of the tournament. His consistent performances have aided many victories.
But we must ponder if these admirable feats will remain noteworthy in a few days’ time. It is highly probable that Dota 2 will unveil an updated ruleset following DreamLeague Season 22’s conclusion, introducing Ringmaster and revolutionizing the game yet again!
