These experienced outfits displayed their superior skills and teamwork, gaining an early advantage over newer teams through strategic gameplay and clutch moments and placing themselves well after the opening day. More thrilling action from the favorites and underdogs alike is expected as the finals unfold over the coming days.
iQOO Soul finished first on the leaderboard with 74 points and one victory royale. Blind Esports came second with 66 points and two victory royales. Orangutan placed third with 46 points. WSB Gaming finished fourth with 39 points and one victory royale. Hydra Esports ended fifth and earned 35 points.
Over the course of five days, from March 5 to 10, 24 teams will compete in the Skyesports Champions Series Grand Finals.
Day 1 Match Summary of the Skyesports Champions Series 2024 Grand Finals
Match 1 Erangel: Saw WSB Gaming take home the biggest prize with a massive 22 point chicken dinner. Blind Esports put on an exciting show with their aggressive strategy which earned them 14 total points, 10 of which came from eliminations of other teams. Skipzz from Blind Esports was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the match thanks to his 7 eliminations of opponents. iQOO Soul secured third place and 12 points. CS Esports and Team XSpark ended up fourth and fifth respectively, scoring 9 and 7 points. Dragon Esports had an early exit without accumulating any points.

Match 2 Miramar: Blind Esports earned a victory with 15 points after securing the most eliminations. Orangutan came in second place with 15 points total, 9 of which were from eliminating other teams. Hydra Esports took third place after displaying smart movement across the map, acquiring 11 points. iQOO Soul landed in fourth position with 10 points earned. Medal Esports placed fifth and gained 9 points. Hunterz from Reckoning Esports was named the most valuable player of the match thanks to eliminating 5 opponents. Entity Gaming was removed from the game early on without scoring any points.
Match 3 Sanhok:Team Tamilas won the match with 14 points. iQOO Soul came second with 13 points after an action packed performance where they earned 9 points from eliminating other teams. Khush “Jokerr” Singh from iQOO Soul was named MVP thanks to his 5 eliminations. Chemin Esports and Entity Gaming placed third and fourth respectively, both earning 11 points. WindGod Esports secured fifth place and 8 points. Orangutan and Medal Esports were unfortunately eliminated early without scoring any points.
Match 4 Vikendi: Blind Esports once again emerged victorious with the most points in the game. They earned a total of 18 for coming in first place. Chemin Esports had a strong performance as well, placing second and accumulating 14 points. Venom from Chemin Esports stood out among all players, earning the Most Valuable Player title thanks to his 4 solo eliminations. Aerobotz Esports and Orangutan battled their way to third and fourth place respectively, each gaining 9 points. Dragon Esports secured fifth position and put 8 points on the board. It was an early exit unfortunately for Team Tamilas, who were unable to notch a single point.
Match 5 Miramar: Medal Esports won the match and earned 17 points. Entity Gaming came second and scored the most points of any team in the match 18 points, with 14 points coming from eliminations. Tushar “GamlaBoy” Das from Entity Gaming was chosen as the most valuable player of the match thanks to his 7 solo eliminations. iQOO Soul finished third and earned 14 points. Team XSpark placed fourth and scored 11 points which all came from eliminations. Blind Esports came fifth and earned 10 points. Reckoning Esports and Revenant Esports were eliminated after earning a single point each.
Match 6 Erangel: iQOO Soul won the match with 23 points. Khush “Jokerr” Singh from iQOO Soul was named most valuable player of the match after eliminating 8 opponents. Orangutan came second with 15 points. Team XSpark came third with 9 points. Revenant Esports and Blind Esports tied for fourth place with 6 points each. Chemin Esports and Entity Gaming were eliminated early in the match earning just 1 point apiece.

Day 3 of the event was dominated by seasoned teams like Global Esports and Team XSpark along with upcoming teams like GenxFM Esports, Team Pscyhe and Marcos Gaming. Some of the experienced teams like Blind Esports and Reckoning Esports were unable to show consistent performances and are placed in the second half of the points table.
