I’ve never read the Patterson novels

TV series based on the novels of James Patterson’s Alex Cross. Alex Cross uses forensic psychology to analyze criminals’ lies, delving into the victims of a psychic who helps identify criminals and bring them to justice. Aldis Hodge discusses his role in the crime drama “Cross” and its production; what he should be known for as an actor and producer; and his commitment to developing diverse narratives through his production work. Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played the role in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in the 2012 film Alex Cross, which was a box office hit and forced Lionsgate to cancel its previously planned sequel Double Cross. I see them in grocery stores.. I think they must be popular.

Anyway, I watch Prime (despite the commercials) mostly for the documentaries, but this show is “Cross”; it came on and I thought I’d give it a try. Cross is a combination of “Luther”; and “The Wire”. Serious. Nothing really original here. Both Luther and The Wire are probably better, but Cross isn’t bad. I’m glad I stuck with it to the end.
I really enjoyed Leverage
ORIENTATION – It has Aldis Hodge, and for those of you who are fans of Leverage… his character is very similar but much more developed (he’s the Star of the Cross). I really like his physique and he’s a blast to watch. Ryan Eggold plays the villain and oh my god he’s… he’s far from the best villain. He’s disturbing, depressing and awful.
It’s also brutal and bloody
What a shock to see him like that after his “How May I Help?” role in New Amsterdam? It sounds like he really enjoyed the role. It’s a good show, although it does jump around a bit halfway through (I think they could have made it six episodes instead of eight, tightening it up a bit). By the way, we know very early on (well before Cross and MPD in general) who the villain is. That knowledge makes things more tense for the viewer. It’s a show about serial killers, and without giving anything away, it does present a serial killer as the main character.
I recommend this series
I quickly skimmed through some scenes that were clearly annoying to me. Speaking of which without any context, I found Cross’s background in psychology interesting. It’s a pretty under the radar thing, but it gets inside the heads of his suspects and is quite interesting (like I said). I think there are aspects of this show – certain scenes – that will bother me for a while. So again, proceed with caution.
