Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 is about to begin, and Krafton, the publisher of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has revealed details of the event. BGIS 2024 The Grind is the qualifier event for the main BGIS 2024 competition. The Grind event will feature a mix of experienced and underdog teams competing over four weeks. The top 64 teams from The Grind event will receive direct slots in the BGIS 2024 main event.

The BGIS 2024 event will follow the same format as previous years. The qualifiers will be played in The Grind event starting from April 4th. A mix of underdog and experienced teams will be invited to compete, and they will be slotted based on their performance in this event.

The format for BGIS 2024 The Grind is as follows:
The Grind (4th April to 28th April):
The Grind event will invite 256 teams, divided into 16 groups. Each group will play 3 matches over 2 weeks. After this initial 2-week period, the 256 teams will be regrouped into 16 new groups, and each group will play 3 more matches over the next 2 weeks. The top 64 teams based on their cumulative standings over the 4-week event will qualify for the BGIS 2024 tournament.

- ✧ 1st –16th Ranked Teams – BGIS Round 4
- ✧ 17th – 32nd Ranked Teams – BGIS Round 3
- ✧ 33rd – 64th Ranked Teams – BGIS Round 2

The BGIS 2024 The Grind event will be broadcast live on the official Krafton India Esports YouTube channel starting from 4th April at 3:30 PM. The live stream will be available in both Hindi and English languages.
