I went into this with pretty low expectations and mostly just excited for Resurrection
The beginning of the first episode was disgusting because of the editing and the CGI police car, and I thought, “Oh my god, this is going to fail.” By the end of the first series, I was eating crow, as the actors perfectly embodied their characters, and the story showed great prospects.
Only one series, and I’m already hooked!
Although we already know most of the backstory, the first series contained a couple of surprises that add depth to some of the characters we’ve come to know and love, and add some backstory to the decisions those characters make.
