A prequel to the original Dinah, it tells how the Rossak sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice is from one called 'Mentats of Dune'. All three books intertwine the development of Nursing, Mentat, Navigator and Suk Doctor.
There is no depth, the conversations are quite cheesy at times
I knew it couldn’t be the same quality as the movies, but I didn’t expect it to be so…mediocre. For a moment I thought it was an Amazon production, not HBO. Some of the roles are not the right casting choices; not bcs the actors are bad but they are just not right for the role.
There are no real special effects, it feels a bit budget-friendly
There is too much going on in the first episode and they jump from one scene to the next as if they are rushing. Also I wonder why they even bothered to make some of the scenes. I’m not sure what camera they used, but the shots look too simple.
