Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appear in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present)
It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion, which they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show get such low ratings, but it made more sense after reading many reviews explaining how they didn’t get past the first episode.
I really like the cast and everyone’s performances
The show is a slow-paced mystery that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it quite funny and enjoyable with a particular tone from Liz Feldman that I appreciate.
All the different characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels
I wasn’t initially sold on Ray Romano due to my own prejudices (I couldn’t separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the life of me), but those faded away pretty quickly. I was pretty much engaged with the story until the last episode, even though I had developed the plot twist very early on.
I’m not mad about it, though
I would love to watch more of this show, and I really hope they get a second season. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
