The 16 participating teams will split a $135,000 USD prize fund at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, which has been scheduled to take place from March 6–10.
While the prize money is nice, competitors will be aiming for a top-two finish in order to earn a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, which will take place on June 12–16 this year.
Partner and qualified teams will compete online in a fierce single-elimination bracket in which a single loss will result in elimination.

The second Counter-Strike (CS2) competition on BLAST’s annually competitive circuit, BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, is about to take place. The top two teams will qualify for to the Spring Final, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.

Six teams that qualified through smaller tournaments and ten teams that have been long-term partners will compete in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024.

There will only be one stage in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, and it will have two basic single-elimination brackets. Eight teams will compete in each bracket, and the format for all games will be best-of-three series.
In addition to the six teams that have been already qualified for the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 through the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024, the teams that emerge victorious in each group will automatically advance to the event.
Teams will compete against each other for a prize pool of $135,000 USD , which will be divided into all participants based on their final placement; the higher a team places, the more money will be permitted to them. So, The stakes will be high.
Furthermore, the two teams that place highest will secure a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, which is slated to occur on June 12–16, 2024.
It will be interesting to see if any of the non-partner teams that has been advanced from the past other qualifying rounds can secure a spot in the main Spring tournament.
